Terms of Use
Voice Circuits is a service of 2N5 Global Enabler. This page has two parts:
- 2N5 Global Enabler’s Terms of Use, which apply to every 2N5 service.

Part 2 — Voice Circuits
1. Acceptance
The Client accepts these Terms when it signs the contract or proposal. Each User accepts them, together with the Privacy Policy, the first time they sign in, and 2N5 records the version accepted and when. Users act on behalf of the Client.
2. The service
Voice Circuits is a managed monitoring service. Depending on what the Client contracts, it:
- places test calls to the Client’s telephone numbers and judges whether each line connects and carries audio of acceptable quality;
- measures the Client’s data circuits, with an agent installed at the Client’s site or with checks made from outside;
- checks the Client’s websites and email delivery;
- alerts the people the Client chooses, step by step, when a failure is confirmed, and tells them when it is resolved;
- produces service reports, including availability figures.
2N5 sets up the monitoring from the information the Client provides. The Client’s Users may also see it and, where allowed, change it.
The service measures and reports. It does not repair lines, carriers’ networks or websites, and it is not an emergency service. A test can miss a problem, or report one that a later test does not confirm. Decisions the Client takes on the strength of a result are the Client’s.
3. Limits of the plan
The Client’s plan limits the number of voice circuits, data circuits, websites and email checks, and the number of test calls per hour. When a limit is reached, nothing more of that kind can be added until 2N5 raises it. Monitoring of what already exists continues.
4. Test calls
- The Client may ask 2N5 to call only numbers it is entitled to have called, such as its own lines or lines it manages with the owner’s agreement.
- A test call that may be answered by a person first plays a recorded message saying it is an automated test.
- Voices are never kept. Audio is kept only when the call is answered by the recording or automated menu (IVR) the Client told 2N5 to expect, and only to prove the line and measure its quality. Audio from a call answered by anyone or anything else is destroyed when the call ends.
- The Client tells 2N5 when a number stops being its own, and plans maintenance windows for planned work, so that alerts and figures stay correct.
- 2N5 may slow down or stop test calls that could harm a carrier or a third party, or that break telecommunications rules.
5. The monitoring agent
2N5 installs the data-circuit agent only on a computer the Client chooses, and only with the Client’s written authorization. The agent sends network measurements and basic facts about the computer, as listed in the Privacy Policy. It opens no port and reads no files or traffic. The Client may ask 2N5 to remove it at any time.
6. The Client’s responsibilities
In addition to Part 1, section 5, the Client must:
- tell its staff and other contacts that their details are used to send them alerts and reports;
- own, or have the right to use, the recordings it supplies for comparison;
- tell 2N5 at once about any unauthorized access to its accounts.
7. Personal data
- Roles. For the monitoring data the Client provides or the service produces for it, the Client is the controller and 2N5 the processor, as Part 1, section 7 says. For demo requests, sign-in accounts and access and security records, 2N5 is the controller.
- As processor, 2N5:
- uses only the kinds of providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and tells the Client before adding a new kind;
- helps the Client answer requests from data subjects and from the ANPD;
- tells the Client without undue delay, and within 48 hours at most, of a security incident affecting the Client’s data;
- transfers data outside Brazil only under a mechanism allowed by LGPD Art. 33.
8. Availability
2N5 aims to keep the service available at all times, but does not guarantee it. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Any availability commitment or service credit applies only if it is written in the contract.
9. The Client’s data
The Client keeps all rights to its data and recordings, and allows 2N5 to use them only to provide the service. After the contract ends:
- the Client may ask for an export of its reports and results within 30 days;
- 2N5 then deletes the Client’s data within 90 days, including backups as they expire;
- 2N5 keeps only what the law requires, such as access records for 6 months.
10. Changes
2N5 publishes any change to these Terms with its date and tells the Client and Users at least 30 days before it takes effect. A Client that does not accept a material change may end the contract before it takes effect.
