LGPD — your rights over your data

Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018) gives you rights over the personal data companies hold about you. This page explains how to use those rights with Voice Circuits, the monitoring service of 2N5 Global Enabler (“2N5”). What we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.

Who to ask

Your data came from… Controller What we do with your request
You, booking a demo or signing in 2N5 We answer it ourselves
A company that uses Voice Circuits, for example because you are one of its alert contacts That company We tell you who it is, pass your request on to it, and help it answer

You do not need to know which applies. Write to us and we will route your request.

Your rights

You may ask, free of charge (LGPD Art. 18):

  1. Confirmation that we process your data.
  2. Access to the data we hold about you.
  3. Correction of data that is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date.
  4. Anonymization, blocking or deletion of data that is unnecessary, excessive or processed unlawfully.
  5. Portability: a copy of your data in a common format, to give to another provider.
  6. Deletion of data processed with your consent.
  7. Information about sharing: which companies and public bodies we share your data with.
  8. Information about refusing consent, and what happens if you do.
  9. Withdrawal of consent, at any time.

You may also:

  • object to processing that does not follow the law;
  • ask for review of a decision based only on automated processing that affects your interests (Art. 20). Voice Circuits judges lines and services automatically; it does not make automated decisions about people.

How to make a request

  1. Write to privacidade@2n5.com.br, or call +55 (11) 2050-1096.
  2. Say which right you want to use and how we can find your data: for example, the email address or phone number we would know you by.
  3. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we disclose or delete anything. This protects your data from someone pretending to be you.

Response times:

  • Confirmation and access:
    • a simplified answer at once;
    • a complete statement within 15 days, showing where the data came from, the criteria used and why it is processed (Art. 19).
  • Other requests: as quickly as possible. If we cannot act straight away, we tell you why: for example, because the law requires us to keep the data, or because the request must go to the company that controls it.

Data we must keep: some data must be kept even if you ask for deletion. Access records, for example, are kept for 6 months under the Marco Civil da Internet (Art. 15). When this applies, we tell you what is kept, why, and until when.

If you are not satisfied

You may complain to the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), Brazil’s data protection authority, at gov.br/anpd. You can also use the consumer-protection channels the law provides.

The legal bases we rely on

Each use of data has one of the legal bases in LGPD Art. 7. The Privacy Policy names the basis for each use:

  • steps before a contract, and performing a contract (Art. 7, V);
  • complying with a legal obligation (Art. 7, II), such as keeping access records;
  • legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX), such as keeping the service secure;
  • the customer’s instructions, when 2N5 acts as its processor (Art. 39).

Security incidents

If a security incident may cause relevant risk or harm to you, 2N5 will tell the ANPD and you within 3 working days of learning that personal data was affected (Resolução CD/ANPD nº 15/2024). The notice will say what happened, which data was affected and what we are doing about it.

Data outside Brazil

Some providers that help run Voice Circuits store or process data outside Brazil, including in the United States. These transfers use the standard contractual clauses approved by the ANPD (Resolução CD/ANPD nº 19/2024) or another mechanism the ANPD allows.
